As a Nutritionist for Women, my passion lies in educating and empowering women to take charge of their health and lifestyle. I firmly believe in the power of building relationships, listening to people's stories, and learning from each other. Above all, I am dedicated to helping you thrive in all aspects of your life.
I lost my mum at a very young age, so my grandma would look after me after school until my siblings got home. I would make her a cup of tea and listen to her stories, many of which involved cooking, food and connection, the communities she was a part of, and lessons learned throughout her life.
Losing your mum changes family dynamics very quickly. Five children and one busy working dad meant that household tasks quickly became mundane chores.
Cooking became a burden, and making my lunch for school was often easier to skip. As a result, I had little energy, I could not focus, and I never understood why – duh!
I know what it is like to feel overwhelmed and have no idea where to begin, to create a healthier and happier lifestyle.
I made small changes that had compounding effects.
I prioritised my health and found joy in cooking and expressing myself creatively. I felt what my grandma felt when she told me those stories of food bringing people together. I felt amazing and wanted to help others feel the same, so I studied a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition) to truly understand the power of nutrients and the human body.
Since then, I have completed further studies in sports nutrition, female health, and nutritional psychiatry.
Our bodies are unique; our health advice should be too.
Starting a new journey can be scary and uncomfortable. We will work together to create small, sustainable habit changes, to positively influence your physical and mental health.
